The 24 is the largest motor grader Caterpillar builds and it exists specifically to maintain mining haul roads at width and speed. The 785D Water Truck carries 121,133 litres, with an automated delivery system that adjusts flow as it drives so the road is damped without turning to mud. The 854K is the machine that cleans up behind both of them.
