We hunted around for a brand that ticks all three boxes (durability, safety and a half-decent look) and Liive Vision came back as the answer. The Z Tradie Safety in polarised black is the no-nonsense workhorse of the range.
Properly safety-rated to AS/NZS 1337.1:2010 (medium impact) with an integrated side shield, a lightweight polycarbonate frame and polarised polycarbonate lenses that cut glare on haul roads, water tanks and the bonnet of the work ute. They feel light enough to forget you're wearing them through a 12-hour shift, and they look the part out of work too. Bloody good sunnies.
